Privacy Policy
Last updated June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ClearSetup.ai ("ClearSetup," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, book a call, download a guide, submit secure onboarding credentials, or use our setup services.
This policy is written for website visitors, prospects, clients, and California residents. It is not a substitute for the separate service agreement that governs a paid engagement.
Notice at collection
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, company name, IP address, and online identifiers.
- Commercial information: services requested, consultation details, invoices, payment status, and support history.
- Internet or device activity: pages viewed, referring links, campaign tags, browser type, device information, and analytics events.
- Professional information: business role, company details, and workflow needs you choose to provide.
- Service configuration information: technical preferences, integration scopes, and setup details needed to configure your OpenClaw environment.
- Sensitive information, only when needed for setup: API keys, integration credentials, access tokens, and similar secrets submitted through our secure intake portal. We use these only to perform onboarding and do not use them to infer characteristics about you.
Sources of information
We collect information from:
- You directly, such as when you contact us, book a call, or submit an intake form.
- Website and advertising tools, such as analytics, pixels, cookies, and campaign URLs.
- Service providers, such as scheduling, email, hosting, analytics, CRM, and payment tools.
- Public or business sources you ask us to review during a setup or consultation.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and provide requested resources.
- Deliver, configure, secure, support, and improve our setup services.

- Send service messages, updates, and marketing communications where permitted.

Cookies, analytics, and ads
We use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Meta Pixel, to understand site performance and measure marketing. These tools may collect identifiers, device information, browsing activity, campaign tags, and conversion events.
You can control cookies in your browser. You can also use our Privacy Choices page to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising on this site. We also treat a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- Hosting, analytics, email, scheduling, CRM, payment, and security providers.
- Advertising and measurement providers, where permitted and subject to your choices.
- Contractors or implementation partners who help deliver a client setup.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics disclosures may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under California privacy law. You can opt out on the Privacy Choices page.
Secure intake credentials
When a client submits API keys or similar setup credentials, those credentials are submitted through a dedicated secure intake portal, encrypted at rest, and used only for setup and operation of the client environment. After import, an admin should mark the submission handled so stored raw credentials are cleared from the intake app.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including service delivery, security, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records. Secure-intake credentials should be cleared after import.
California privacy rights
California residents may have the right to request access to, deletion of, correction of, and information about personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share. You may also opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, and exercise rights without discrimination.
To make a request, email hello@clearsetup.ai or call (855) 779-3797. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so clients should rotate credentials when appropriate and mark intake submissions handled after setup.
